Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 August 2026
Draft, pending legal review. Adapted from an existing UAE consultancy document and re-pointed at an Indian entity: governing law is now India and the named booking provider has been corrected. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the liability and governing-law clauses in particular deserve one.
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using the Delusional Machines website, booking calls with us, and engaging with us before a separate proposal, statement of work, or written agreement is signed.
The website is operated by Delusional Machines, an India-based applied‑AI consultancy. Our registered address is 1/1 KK Nagar, Vellore Main Road, Ranipet District, Tamil Nadu 632509, India. You can reach us at that address, or by booking a call.
By using this website or booking a call, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
What we do
Delusional Machines is an applied‑AI business. We build the models, the compute, the agents and the software around them, and we help clients understand where AI fits their business goals, where it does not, and what is worth doing first.
Where appropriate, we may also help clients execute approved recommendations through our own team, subcontractors, channel partners, or specialist ecosystem brands.
The website describes our general approach. It does not create a client relationship, project scope, guarantee, or obligation to provide services until we agree the relevant terms in writing.
Website content
The content on this website is provided for general information only. It should not be treated as legal, financial, accounting, technical, security, or professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
You should make your own decisions based on your internal review, professional advice where needed, and any signed agreement with us.
We may update, remove, or change website content at any time. This site is under active development and some sections may be incomplete.
Booking calls
You may use the website to book a discovery call. Booking a call does not guarantee that we will accept a project, provide a specific recommendation, or deliver a specific outcome.
We may reschedule, decline, or cancel calls where necessary, including where the request is outside our scope, presents a conflict, or is not a good fit for our services.
Please provide accurate booking information and do not submit confidential or sensitive data through the public booking flow.
Consultancy engagements
Paid work begins only when we agree a proposal, statement of work, invoice, order form, master services agreement, or other written agreement.
Those engagement documents will define the applicable scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, responsibilities, assumptions, exclusions, payment terms, and any project-specific legal terms.
If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed client agreement, the signed client agreement will control for that engagement.
Subcontractors and channel partners
We may use subcontractors, channel partners, specialist providers, or ecosystem brands to support delivery of approved client work.
Unless a client enters into a separate direct agreement with a partner, Delusional Machines remains responsible for coordinating the agreed work within the scope and limits of the applicable client agreement.
Clients should not assume that any partner, tool, or ecosystem brand is involved in a project unless it is included in the agreed scope or confirmed by us in writing.
Client responsibilities
Clients and prospective clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, necessary approvals, appropriate access, and internal stakeholder alignment.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and suitability of any business information, process details, data, documents, or instructions you provide to us.
You are also responsible for reviewing recommendations, outputs, prototypes, automations, AI-assisted materials, and deliverables before using them in your business.
AI-specific limitations
AI systems, automations, models, and AI-assisted workflows can produce incomplete, inaccurate, biased, unexpected, or unsuitable outputs.
We do not guarantee that any AI recommendation, tool, workflow, or implementation will produce a specific revenue increase, cost saving, efficiency gain, compliance result, or business outcome unless expressly stated in a signed agreement.
Human review, testing, monitoring, and governance remain important for any AI-enabled process.
Fees and payments
The website does not currently process payments.
Fees, taxes, payment schedules, expenses, refunds, cancellation terms, and invoicing details are handled proposal-by-proposal or through a separate written agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST where it applies), bank charges, platform fees, and third-party costs.
Intellectual property
All website content, branding, text, design, layouts, and materials are owned by or licensed to Delusional Machines and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without our permission.
Ownership and licence rights for client deliverables will be defined in the applicable proposal, statement of work, or written agreement.
Nothing on this website transfers ownership of our pre-existing methods, frameworks, templates, know-how, tools, or intellectual property.
Acceptable use
You must not use the website to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- submit false, misleading, unlawful, or harmful information;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- interfere with the security or operation of the website;
- copy, scrape, or reuse website content in a way that infringes our rights; or
- send spam, malware, or abusive communications.
Third-party services and links
The website may include third-party tools, links, integrations, or services, including Google Calendar appointment scheduling for booking.
Third-party services are controlled by their own providers and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.
Disclaimers
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms or a signed client agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Delusional Machines will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or business interruption losses arising from website use, booking interactions, or reliance on website content.
For paid engagements, liability will be handled under the applicable signed agreement. If no signed agreement applies, our liability will be limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.
International clients
We are based in India and work with clients internationally, including in the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and India.
Working across borders can bring local requirements with it — data residency, sector regulation, tax and withholding treatment, invoicing currency, or sanctions and export controls. Those are engagement-specific, so they belong in the signed agreement for that engagement rather than in these website Terms.
You are responsible for telling us about any local requirement that applies to your project before work starts, and for obtaining any licence, approval, or consent your own regulator requires.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms or website use will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tamil Nadu, India.
If you are a consumer, or if the mandatory law of your own country gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, nothing here removes them. A signed client agreement may specify a different governing law or dispute forum for that engagement, and where it does, the signed agreement controls.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
Your continued use of the website after the updated Terms are published means you accept the updated Terms.
